Can anyone identify these patches. I cut them off jackets I bought . The jackets were old and had been attacked by moths. I liked the patches.the patches. The one with the flying tiger. And the one with red and silver bars and 5 point star and a Chinese ?star. .looks like silver thread .
The bars were on the jacket. I do not which of these were on what jacket.. There are 5 gold bars on also I have misplaced the id dog tag and the 4 leaf clover that was sealed in a plastic holder.
Note any help from anyone would be appreciated. !!!!
ONE OTHER THING.....I cannot see any of the photos I have posted ...just blank squares.
I can see other posts but they are some how connected to EBAY, SO IF I click on them I Am immediately sent to eBay to bid. ALSO THERE IS A WINDOW THAT READSB”NOT A MYSTERY “ I cannot place The word MYSTERY choices are.....not a mystery....mystery solved. Etc
THIS POST IS A MYSTERY!!!! LISTED UNDER METALS PIN AND BADGES ...AND...MILITARY PATCHES. I HOPE THAT THEY STAY IN THAT CATAGORY. SOMETIMES SOMEONE IN CHARGE WILL MOVE MY ITEMS TO SOME OTHER CATAGORY???
Patches: 17th Airborne Division, 1st Allied Airborne Army, 14th Air Force (Tiger), and China Burma India (CBI).
Patches with "T" are rank insignia for a Technical Sergeant, other similar patches in next photo are rank insignia for Staff Sergeant.
Rifle and wreath is a "Combat Infantryman's Badge".
Item with four small ribbons is a medal ribbon bar (shown upside down).
5 gold bars are "overseas service bar"-- each bar represent 6 months of service overseas, so soldier was overseas for 30- 35 months.

It is a shame the uniform was not taken care of.
