This antique wooden puzzle has the outline that fits the picture. Have not made a lot of these, but always challenging when the puzzle doesn’t have straight line edges/borders. I loved the picture of these kids giving the little one the job of water boy so they could play with his birthday present, the new football. The skeptical expression of the kid is priceless..he wants to play and they seem to want his ball, with him on the sidelines.

Wonderful puzzle!! I love that scene.
Love the mid century children’s illustrations, I collect old children’s books because of this and your puzzle is wonderful..love it!
Thanks Roy for the reference to Saturday Evening Post. Thanks for your feedback jscotto and inky!
Ms.ChrystalShip, As Roycroftbooksfromme1 noted, indeed a Rockwell which was also featured on cover of Saturday Evening Post (see his link in comments above). Thanks for commenting.
Title: You Can Be the Water Boy;
Artist: Frances Tipton Hunter;....!!! not by Rockwell as Roycroft posted ..
Published: November 27, 1937;
From the 1930s to the 1940s, Hunter contributed 18 covers to the Saturday Evening Post. just like Rockwell and others .
Thanks for the correction, junkbuddy, and I realize Royalcroftbooksfromme1 never said Rockwell....It was my mistake and incorrect identification. Thanks for the insights.
