"This gorgeous 5" high (4" diameter) cameo vase by Richard Loetz is in exceptional condition. It is signed "Richard". The raised floral decoration is shades of black; the ground is a light mist blue." Well, what I see is is chestnut over white . . . . The PN comes from Cantz: III-1273, on ubiquitously fruitful page 243! Loetz.com shows another example in orange/cobalt. I'd like to classify floral decors, like hops, thorns, fuchsias . . . what are these??

It's interesting that the tilt is part of the design. I think the ground color would be ozon. Great piece!

I am pretty certain these are old-fashioned Mock Orange flowers, the single type vs. the double flowers. They are a lovely fragrant shrub that has serrated leaves and four-petalled white flowers that occur in clusters at the end of a stem.

      Perhaps dogwood flowers?

It looks like dogwood to me also
