This is an M.M. Secor Northwestern Trunk & Traveling Bag Manufactory trunk. I've done a bit of research and it's been fun reading about this company. I would love to restore it. But these are my questions: 1. Is this something I could restore myself--I have no experience with trunks; 2. How much would it cost to pay a professional to restore it? 3. How much is it worth as is? 4. What will its value be once restored? I basically need to decide where it's going to live! Thank you in advance!
Well to be honest, it's in rough shape, broken wood slats, broken or missing metal corners, worth very little in this condition, yes you could do it your self, if you paid someone like me it would cost more than the trunk is worth, sorry but its just not a trunk that has much value.
Thank you so much for answering my questions.
