I collect regency furniture. So far all reeded. You see some of it on pic. 1. Recently I acquired another library chair, see pic. 2. This one not reeded. See the comparison on pic. 3. Is not-reeded regency furniture older or younger than the reeded ones ? Does anyone know ?

But...........Is it really Regency if it's not Reeded?

Thanks for the comment Gillian. The shape of the chair is definitely regency and it has the patina that makes it most likely that it's from that time.
