This is a super nice advertising clock made by the Glo-Dial Clock Company, based out of Los Angeles, California. This one is advertising Belfast Sparkling Water, probably designed for a bar, diner, or restaurant. The New Century Beverage Company of San Francisco specialized in soda and carbonated water (root beer, pale dry ginger ale, seltzer water, etc.) and owned a number of brands around this time, and Belfast was one they developed in the early 20th century. The clock's metal case is painted black and is quite large, with around a 22 inch total diameter. The seconds hand has a red crescent moon attached to its back end, and the hour and minute hands are impressive in scale and styling. We have owned this clock for close to twenty years and it has run continuously, with the neon bulb and machinery still going strong. We love its green glow at night and how it conjures up images of the many historical Irish bars of San Francisco.

The front face which is glass could be swapped out depending on the advertiser.
