Can someone help me identify this insignia? I found it amongst my father's old papers in an envelope. It had War of 1812/Spanish American War and something else listed on the envelope but it was illegible.

Update on back view: Again on card it reads War of 1815- Boxer Rebellion- Spanish American War. This is all the information that was written. It does note on back the letters STERLING. It has two stars on the back and the numbers V2010K=STER . Hope this additional info helps.

US Navy hat badge. A photo of the back will help to date it-- it is 20th century.

It is WW2 era and made by Hilborn & Hamburger (H-H).

The company has been in business since 1926.
