      Its possible it is not Chinese, the decorations are Asian, and I believe this is a polished bronze vase. The mark is an archaic Ming mark, first 2 characters mean "The Great Ming".

      But this was used extensively by the Japanese and other Far East countries late 19th early 20th century.
