The Old Wooden Secretary, Maybe Served Us Too Long, But We Still Love It! A Post For Jbowen2531! :^)

Jbowen2531 posted a Freebie Furniture Find, that after Cleaning, looked Beautiful, it is a Secretary, with Leaded Glass Cabinets on each side of the fold down center Desk, but something was missing, the desk, folded down is low, so it could be missing some Legs, or something else to bring it to it's working height. Beautiful, but not correct! Now our Secretary is functional, and correct, some may say it's seen better days, which is true, but we love it, and use it all the time! I guess it should be on the Trash heap, but it still works for us, and our Collectors Life Style! :^D Thanks for posting yours Jbowen2531, love it, use it! It's yours! :^D
Our Secretary has been with us for over 30yrs, is probably over 80yrs. old, and has served us well! It's 48"wide 43 1/2" tall 12 1/2" deep, and the Desk folds down to 30" off the floor. Full of Papers, Books, Collectables, Photos, and maybe a Pen and Pencil or two! :^D
