    Mid century Wassily chair an early iteartion of the chair with cloth straps , the straps are stained I pulled this out a dumpster I’m thinking of changing the strap or just Cleaning them and painting straps brown not sure what to do but a cool comfortable chair

      A good friend of mine owns two of these in black leather...another (now passed) friend owned a pair in white leather. BEAUTIFUL (iconic?) as well as COMFORTABLE chairs!! :-) :-) :-) GREAT 'dumpster save'?!!!! <applause>

      I bought a set of six of these chairs - in black leather - at a yard sale in San Francisco around 1990.
