Here is another piece I found recently. It was in the form as a lamp, with holes on top and bottom. The quality of the painting is quite good, not so much on the top. It was very dirty covered in cooking grease or pickled ginger??? Not sure. The inside is also very dirty. I figure it has to be at least from the 1930's. I would guess Chinese export for the Japanese market??

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Very new. Hardly more than 50 years old exportware. The frieze at the bottom is called 'traffic light'.

golgatha, interesting, what does frieze mean? It is very heavy, maybe that was a bad sign that I thought was a good one. Very very dirty, both inside and out. Must have been a dirty household. Made to be a lamp??

I assume the form is also non traditional, I could not find any other 6 sided jars. Thanks for the help!

By frieze I mean the repeated sign at the bottom.

Golgatha, can you find me a similar example online as a reference? I can't seem to locate one. You are saying this is at the oldest from the 1970's? Thanks for the help!

he Golgotha that,s an easy way to score , comparing the accidamical discussian between Tony Allen and Bill Hewick dated 04-11-2016 , becausethere also other influenced like the bottom sedimentation

you can,t compare an raised enamaling precious with this piece

the pointillisme is not an frotte (stroking)and the faces are halfway that are the criteria

you make the discussion un unsound intrapolation

the criterium is this pressed template concerning the decapitated ruyi they are completely congruent, so is this an application of an fill in a coloring page, probably
