    This must be an old game piece or something like that. it's only 1.2 inches tall. I think it's a little Dutch boy, but can't be sure. does anyone recognize this piece?

      I was thinking he looked Amish. Long ago they made an entire Amish horse and buggy complete with little people sitting on the seats. Everything was cast iron except ropes/reins. The little people were always the first thing to be lost. It is unusual to find a complete set anymore. Unfortunately cast iron isn't popular right now with buyers. I have a bunch of it stored away waiting for the market to rebound.

      very true fhrjr2! but that makes it a good thing to collect at the moment. i'm going to look up the Amish set.

      ho2cultcha the answer to your question is in my original post above. Dam good thing to have anytime, as I said the little people are always the first thing lost. Therefore collectors are always looking for them, especially with original paint.
