I'm not sure whether this comes from Bohemia (pre 1918) or Czechoslovakia (post 1918). The glass is pink with a clear outer casing.and the rims are cut. The bun feet and the finial are hand formed.

    Height 11 cm./4.25 inches Diameter 10 cm./4 inches

My thanks go to Larksel for his kindness in identifying this bowl. See comment 11.

Thank you, Broochman, I think pink and lilac Tango pieces are especially nice.

Yes - I have pondered whether these two colours are the hardest to acquire because they were produced in smaller quantities........(as seems likely)...... or because everyone likes them the most and holds onto them!

Wow22 I tend to the view that the higher end makers produced tango in a wider range of colours. Red, yellow, orange and black were very popular at the time including in ceramics. We all have our theories lol

IronLace, I've been trying to buy only identifiable pieces of late but some times it's hard!

renedijkstra, nice enough to forgive its lack of pedigree!

Thank you so much, Larksel. The seller listed it as Loetz but wasn't asking a terrific amount for it. He did send me an image of the same shape in Loetz Olympia with decoration. When I didn't find the shape amongst the Tango on Loetz.com I bought it anyway, because I liked it!

Your green one is gorgeous......I love the beautiful painted decoration.
