    This 2.8Cm in diameter token was issued free of charge by the New Haven Railroad to passengers on its trains. The token promoted both the advent the streamlined Baldwin I-5 streamlined steam engine (pictured on the obverse), as well as the line's redone dining and grill cars. These tokens were given out from the late 30s to the early 40s. Passengers could trade such tokens in for a cup of coffee gratis.

    The token's Art Deco design is timeless......
