    Came across this great cabinet photograph of a Cat by Haskell of North Abington Mass. Someone must have loved this cat!! I'll call it a Money Cat as it must have cost a little bit to have it taken.

      Great image-- 19th century cat images are hard to find and command a high price tag.

      This example is one of the better examples!

      Nice photograph. I wonder how long it took to get that pose. Didn't exposures take awhile during this period of photography?

      These were very short exposure images-- much easier to capture animals at this point (1890s) in photography.
