unexpected kindnesses from new friends v.2 -- three new parking signs join the herd here

WHODATHUNK IT. Here I gotta go again, with yet one more story demonstrating the remarkable generosity and kindness of yet one more fellow CW member...? <wow> I mean, I have come to realize anyways that there's a great group of folks that hang around here -- but to be the random beneficiary of **TWO** of y'all in as many months...??? Stuff ;-) like that doesn't generally happen in my life, with any regularity anyway...??

SO'S. In much the same way as happened not long ago with the sailmaker's tool (+ pr. of earrings) from Billretirecoll, I left an intended to be 'offhand comment' to new friend *yougottahavestuff*'s recent showing of an assortment of cool road signs, mentioning one in particular that caught my eye.

And (again?!) a most unanticipated short series of comments/emails/etc ensued between myself and 'Stuff, ultimately resulting in yet one more small package arriving on my porch a week or so later...and (again?!) once opening said box I found it to contain more than I'd been anticipating...?? <WOW>

That's what's shown here now. The "SNOW EMERGENCY" parking sign was the one that caught my eye at first, I've actually been looking (not very actively) for some variant of a 'SNOW' sign like it for a few yrs now, thinking it'd be amusing to actually put up in my own front yard here. (where actual snow, thankfully, is not a frequent event) In fact, that's exactly where this particular sign IS gonna go (2nd pic shows it closer, after a slight bit of 'bodywork') once I find somebody to borrow one of those heavy steel tubular 'post driving' tools from... ;-) :-)

The "STREET CLEANING" and "FIRE ZONE" were the unexpected prizes that also came outta the box, much to my continued surprise and delight. :-) :-) :-) TRUST ME Tony -- all 3 signs are gonna find a nice spot around here someplace to be proudly displayed amongst the rest of my collection -- 'hiding behind the barn' no longer?!!! :-) :-) :-)
