    Hello,
Can anybody help identify this item? Bought it this week and would like to find out how it works. From the little bit of info I could find, it was used to make photographic prints/copies. It's made in Hamburg, Germany and seems to be from the early 1900's. Underneath the heavy frosted glass are smaller orange lightbulbs. Have not cleaned it yet but I believe that is dried developer of some sort in the tray. I found a similar item on the internet but it was only half of it and only contained the section with the glass.
Thanks for helping me solve a bit of a puzzle :-)

      Hello keramikos,

Thank you I found those patent links too but unfortunately mine does not show any patent numbers. I found a similar version of my item at a European auction site and it was from the early 1900's. Also found one similar from the early 1930's. It might take a while, but I will find information one day because I want to know the history of the item. I think it will be harder to find info because very few are in existence today.
      Thanks
