I've never seen a Hat Pin like this and have had no luck identifying what branch of the Military this belongs to and what year it is from. Also, is it unusual that the head is facing left? Any help identifying it would be great! Thanks so much!!

Having the caduceus and anchor in the design should help narrow it down to something medical and Navy or maybe Marines, but that’s all the help I can offer.
