A very early QUEZAL decorated art glass vase.
With a deep blood red/maroon iridescent pulled feather
having a wide gold iridescent boarder decoration and
an additional overlapping gold iridescent pulled feather decoration
all over an opal/yellow background.
The vase is 7" tall and unsigned with a clear applied button pontil.
Is this marked in the typical manner?
DuDa, As I noted in the above description the vase is unsigned. The first vases made at The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company were identified with an attached paper label....prior to being signed with the engraved signature. Many times after the paper label has been removed these early vases are misidentified as Tiffany Studios.
