Piece measures 6" Long X 2" Wide X 6" Tall. Fine condition, reconstructed left tusk.
Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen (1874-1960) graduated from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts (Copenhagen) in 1897. He was a model master of the porcelain company Bing & Grøndahl (Copenhagen) from 1897 to 1917. From 1917 to 1925 he was the artistic director of the porcelain factory Norden (Copenhagen). In 1925 he started his own company, Dahl-Jensen Porcelainfabrik, in Husum, a suburb of Copenhagen. The company was in operation until 1984.
