    I nearly dropped dead when i went into one of my favorite 2nd hand stores today and saw this table with a very low price on it. It didn't take long for me to find room for it! Rare 1920s Angelus Furniture company desk with inlaid Hispano Moresque tiles.

      Wow! Nice find Pete, it almost looks like a Chess table, I love the Inlaid Tile Tables, and you're right, they're hard to find at a reasonable price. What a beauty! :^)

      Rene - the 'strange celadon' is actually a vase by Garden City, San Jose - 1930s. the chair is one of a pair i have. i'll have to look up Howard Carter. thanks for appreciating 'my salon'!
