Me in the Xmas party at the dhss office in Edgbaston Birmingham, then aged 32. I was playing a drunken claimant who had not received any sickness benefit for Xmas. I was demanding to see the manager named Jim King. I was saying ' is your king in today'. Photos taken by John Cunliffe who did wedding photography at weekends. December 1979 photos.
Great Photo!!! You look the Part!! I was born in Essex on the Onger in 46. My mother was a War Bride. We came to US when I was 6 months old so I lost my Accent!!!

The office opened in 1977 and closed in 2007. It was transferred to Birmingham City centre. I worked there from 1977 to 1989 as a stationery officer supplied forms and office stationery to different departments in office.
