This is my latest addition, where I am convinced that it is a Rindskopf glassworks product. Unfortunately, I have not seen this decor in a different shape yet. However, the shape is the same or very similar to the shape of a vase presented by inky on CW 5 years ago as Josephinenhütte. see: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/150902-josephinenhutte-glass-vase?in=442-activity.
I admit that my vase has some elements that could match the designs of Julius Camilio de Maess in particular.
This vase is marbled twice. Green glass slightly marbled with gray-white and blue glass. Overlaid with colorless glass and then marbled on beige and brown-red (maroon) glass. The dimensions of the vase are 15.3 x 7.5 cm.
I have not seen such marbled glass in the Josephinenhütte glassworks. So I think it's Rindskopf. But who knows?
Beautiful colours!
Hello Ales...sorry I didn’t answer your question on my post, I didn’t see it till I saw this post of yours... I can’t remember how I came to the conclusion that mine was by Josephinenhutte, but I do know that I never! put an attribution on any piece of glass unless I was pretty sure of what it was, certainly back then when I had only just started collecting..someone who new what they were talking about more than likely told me. Over the years since!..I have seen others very much like mine assigned to Josephinenhutte, sorry! that’s the best I can say.....I do love this vase of yours..
Thank you Penny.
Rindskopf came up with surprising rarities at times! Beautiful piece of glass!
