It is a Japanese vase. It has a Satsuma mark.
Generic Satsuma marks refer to marks added to a Japanese ceramic piece to indicate a style in general instead being the name of a specific company, studio or any individual artist.
The mark which has a plus sign in a circle is a family crest of clan of Shimazu.
I have another opinion, a first glance it looks like a Chinese decor of hand painted courtyards, with a busy overall decoration and design.
The mark seems to be a 2 character Kanji, that is mirror reversed, what you would see in Japanese, the last 2 characters of a 4 or 6 mark signature, with 'person name' and 'made by'. Such as this, I chose a genuine Taizan mark:

Still a very pleasing example of Asian decorative vase, no matter who made it. Thanks for posting.
strange comparison
