Whats the thoughts on this
I think I would separate the three elements of this. The bicycle would look better as a piece of yard art on its own.
Well i had it in my yard in front of my shed but really think something better ckuld be done. But thanks for your input and i may end up putting everything back like it was. Now i have another shwinn bike just like thats one except its in great shape. Not sure what ill do with it. Anyways thanks again
The wooden ironing boards are very hard to come by and they are beautiful repurposed as an unusual piece of furniture such as a small table....but indoors only. The wood will ruin outdoors. Same with the Pepsi crate.
The bike is already rusty so would be a great piece of yard art.
I also would disassemble it, as previously suggested. The three elements just don’t make sense combined as they are pictured.
Thanks. Maybe take the pepsi box of and put wire basket on. Something for iron to sit in and other things.
Creative :-) Who is that doll in photo 3 behind bike ? I love her
That National No. 40 is about as rare as you can get, to bad someone used it like that.
Im not sure where the doll came from. Ive tried looking her up and have not found yet. I know that the bike and pepsi box and ironing board are all great pieces by themselves but the pepsi box on the side under seat was chewed up by my bloodhound "Gomer" so it was ruined. The ironing board was split right down the middle, and the bike had been sitting in the yard after i found it in the middle of the woods. Sat in my yard for a few years after she was found. So i took all these pieces that were broke and made something with them.
As it is not a terribly old or rare bike, it is not a loss and repurposes objects usually disposed of so that they might have a second life and purpose. I'd say that it is creative and unique, though it just won't work out in a small New York apartment!
Someone would likely buy the ironing board and repair the split so it could be repurposed as furniture.
