      Looks like a Chinese copper can for storage of whatever things you'd like to use it for. The sign on the lid could be an abstractation of the sign for good luck, happiness etc.

      lets puzzle is it a TU or is it a CAI in other words is this a prosperity symbol or a wealth symbol and what is the difference

      the TU symbol is related to g?ngwù meaning official , related to status honor rank etc so that,s a honorable meritocratic classification

      the Cai symbol is also wealth, but got a less connotation material wealth

      i think this is CAI but you probably got the better eyes
