A few weeks ago I went to a church sale. I bought a few mid century items. While I was leaving a spotted two of these glass bottles. On the bottom of them it says Czechoslovakia 1919 and a name I cannot make out. Very heavy glass.

They're wonderful -- I would have probably snagged 'em from a church sale too! ;-) How tall are they, sorry I can't offer any further info...

If you place a piece of black card behind the signature we may be able to make it out better but could it be "Inwald" by any chance?
