My Great Aunt Martha's Driver's License

This was my great aunt Martha's driver's license. She was oldest of the famous Morin sisters. During the depression, the oldest three went to the fancy resorts to work and you can see her address was the Pinecrest Inn in North Carolina. That's where she met her husband Walter - who eventually became a chef at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC and good friends with Julia Childs. They actually lived next door to Julia in Boston at some point and we have some things which Julia gave to my aunt. The second photo shows Walter picnicing in their yard on the cape with my Aunt Dolly and Uncle Herman [Eastern Airlines]. The next photo shows my godmother Pat Donnelly Morin who was written up in the gossip columns back in the 1930s because she would regularly go horseback riding with the Archbishop of NY - creating quite the scandal! The last is my Great Grand Pepere and Memere - the father and mother of the Morin Sisters.
