This is a crock from Win Schuler's restaurant in Marshall, MI. Originally it would have been filled with the famous "Bar Scheeze" and was served to guests who may have waited up to 2 hours for a table at the restaurant, along with meatballs in barbecue sauce and a loaf of French bread as a gesture of hospitality. If you know any other information please share!!
My sister has one in her house, my dad got them from the restaurant
in MI while traveling for work. I loved the cheese. Our crock is probably 80-90
years old.
