I am going with closer to 1961 for this one. The later ones had sloppy paint and the details weren't as sharp as the molds wore out. This one has the paint in the right places. Now for using my 10 dollar word.
When dealing with Goofy I get to use the word anthropomorphic as he was a dog who lived as a human. This was typical of cartoons of the time. But there is Pluto who is a nonathropromorphic dog and belongs to Mickey Mouse who is a friend of Goofy. This has been causing confusion for years as usually animals will be either anthropomorphic or non but not both in the same universe.
I've posted a few of these so I can't post the same information about each one. Basically they are like Matchbox cars but are plastic figures instead.
An even more exciting Disneykin to come next week.
Great Goofy Disneykin fort, he was one of my fave characters
Hummm, I never thought of that, but you are right! Goofy and Pluto, one of them that 10 dollar word and the other one not....I didn’t get to watch cartoons as a child/no tv till I was beyond the age to enjoy cartoons.
Very Cool and you have the "Box" which makes it extra special :-)
Love, love....
Thank you very much Newfld. A fine choice.
Thank you very much Watchsearcher. I was raised on cartoons and see what happened.
Thank you very much Rulanda. Box is probably worth more than the figure.
Thank you very much valentine. Me too.
And thank you very much Wide Awake.
Love it. I still miss my Goofy with string legs on a tricycle that I accidentally left in an old truck that I sold....
Thank you very much kwqd. It is probably on ebay.
