I'm posting some David Bowie memorabilia to celebrate & remember this unique artist on the day of his birth.
1. Issue 6 of David Bowie Glamour, a high end, limited edition fanzine (more like a coffee table book).
It features rare unseen photos, original artworks, & interviews/articles by people who knew Bowie, & fans. Amazing publication!
2. Back cover of the same fanzine, the artwork is by Helen Green. Love the quote!
3. Limited edition screenprint by Gregory Gilbert Lodge, created in 2013 for the opening of the David Bowie Is exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Titled "White Duke", it is printed in white ink with glitter on black paper. Edition No. 79 of 250. Picked this up on eBay, the seller had never removed it from the tube. I had it framed with an Art Deco inspired frame.
4. Limited edition giclee print by Helen Green, titled "Time May Change Me". This was another eBay find from the UK.
Many thanks, Thomas, much appreciated!
A beautiful way to remember him.
Thanks also, Watchsearcher!
Thanks also for your memories, renedijkstra, yes, must have been Serious Moonlight. I saw him in 1987 on the Glass Spider tour & in 2004 Reality tour, both at Sydney Entertainment Centre.
It's my pleasure, valentino97, so glad you're enjoying it!
Wonderful stuff!
Thanks so much, vintagelamp!
