These are recent Finds from the Flea Market, and Thrift Stores, to Brighten a Cool Day, and remind that Spring is on the way!:^D
Just for Fun there's Jewelry, Glass, Pottery, Figurines, a Dairy Queen, and a Hawaiian Hand Painted Aloha Cloth! If there's anything that catches your eye, or some that you would like to know more about, just let me know, and I can help! :^D
Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome! :^)
Brian, my #1 Mary, and Tim, thank you for taking a look, and giving a love! :^)
What a wonderful potpourri Bill, and on that gorgeous aloha cloth from my fave vacation paradise Hawaii! Love your array of animal and flower brooches, my personal fave is that center ivory looking carved rabbit on marble it's a beauty
Cool finds, Bill. Really like the jade mirror and that bunny brooch!
Thanks to you all for the Comments, and love given, I'm off to my Friend Keith's Estate Sale in Berkeley, I'll get back to you a little later! :^D
Hello! What a great day for hunting :)
I love the white and green flower brooch. Makes me miss midsummer eve here in scandinavia.
Tell us more about the cute turtle with baby turtle in it’s back. I also like the rabbit item and the lovely item with pale green handle (mirror?)...a nice haul!
Ok, lets see if I can start over on this, but first, some great finds at the Estate Sale that we went to, I'll try to show some later! :^D
Thanks Jenni, I got that Aloha Hawaii(table?) cloth a few months ago, it was a little dirty when I got it but it cleaned fairly well with Oxi-clean, in cold water, and a flat air dry! Yes it was one of those weeks, of good finds! That maybe"Year Of The Rabbit" Brooch, looks like it's put together, from other Jewelry pieces, the carved(we call bone) Rabbit, is glued to what looks like a finished Leather disc, and then glued to a flat round stone Bead, with a pinback glued to it. I think it's nice looking too! :^D
Thanks Mrstyndall, and fun to find too! The Mirror was down in the bottom of a box of stuff, and I didn't have to pay much for it. The back is painted enamel on Porcelain, and an Aluminum frame holding it and the Mirror, to the Jade looking Handle, it is stone of some kind! :^D
Thank you Eileen, that Necklace caught my eye to, I want to clean it a little, or more, it really does look interesting, the catch is a spring clip, that slides in the side of the case bead, it looks old 1920s?, but I think cleaning will help to date it too! Yep, those Flower Brooches brought me right back to the mid-1960-70s, they might not be that old, but they look really good! :^D
Thank you Elisabethan, it must be the New Year, that brought the people out trying to get rid of some things, and I'm here! That Green and White Daisies Brooch reminds me of a print that would be on a White Cotton Dress, it's pretty! :^D
Hi Watchsearcher, that Pewter Turtles Figurine/Paper Weight is made by Peltro Pewter Italy, I'm not sure of the date, but there's pieces on line for sale, but couldn't find one like this one! Thank you for your comments! :^D
My #1 Mary, that Copper Cat is a Gecko! :^D It has no marks, and I haven't searched it yet! When I got that Vase, I thought it was Stangl Pottery, but it turned out to be Royal Haeger, a surprise, but still a good find! Always to hear from you, Thanks! :^D
Thank you all for the love that you gave,
