2019 STATE FAIR OF TEXAS

The State Fair of Texas is held each year in early October. I have been entering items from my collection for several years in the Creative Arts Antiques division. Fortunately the entries in 2019 were deemed worthy. The winning entries are displayed throughout the Fair in the Creative Arts Building. If you are wondering what Flour Milling has to do with gates, it doesn't. I worked as a supplier to the Flour Mills for 20 years. The Pioneer Flour Mills in San Antonio, Texas was one of the customers I called on. The Sky King flour sack was given to me by my Aunt Iva who lived in Fort Worth. Sky King was one of my childhood heroes.
