I found this Book at the Flea Market this Morning 01/18/2020. It's the May 27, 1927 20th Printing of "The Story Of Doctor Dolittle", by Hugh Lofting, and printed by Fredrick A. Stokes, in hard cover. I thought it was a nice find, because the new "Doctor Dolittle" movie just started in Theaters, this past Week. When I was searching this Book, I noticed the Bookplate said "This Book Belongs To Marion Ross" and then on the Title Page it was signed to Marion Ross Christmas 1929, so I decided to search Marion Ross, well first thing that came up was for the Actress, who played the Mother on the TV Show "Happy Days", and I thought wouldn't that be cool if it had belonged to her! :^D but after a little more searching, I found another, Marion Ross: "Rosie The Riveter" (the symbol of the Women "Getting The Job Done" when the Men were in the Service during WWII) She was Born in San Francisco in 1924, and would have been 5yrs old in 1929, maybe a nice Christmas present for a little Girl. Well maybe! :^D She did live in the Bay Area, and went to Mill's College, and worked in the Kaiser Ship Yards in Richmond, Calif. . . . It could have been hers, or it makes a good Story! :^D
The Book has no Dust Cover, the Cover it a bit loose, and a little bit of pencil scribbles on a couple of pages, but otherwise in Good condition! It's 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" and 180 pages!

Thank you for Looking, your comments are always welcome, and any information is appreciated! :^)
