    Picked up this little lightweight tool at Goodwill for under $2, simply because I was curious what it really is. (some kind of 'lid lifter'??)

    Turns out it only took a moment online to discover it is actually a "universal spanner wrench" meant for use by firefighters to loosen and tighten the fittings on firehoses, and the rectangular slot on the other end is to turn gas valves on and off. Whodathunkit?!!
