This is one of my favorite walls. The book cases are capped by two works by Charles Roy Smith who was a local artist.

The book cases themselves house some of my favorite sets.

Six Thousand Years of History 10 vols
Dictionary of the History of Ideas 5 vols
    Classic Sermons 23 vols
    Lowell Thomas 5 vols
Expository Outlines on the Whole Bible 20 vols
    Encyclopedia of Health 8 vols
The History of our Country 8vols
    Matthew Henry's Commentary 6 vols
Columbia University Coarse in Literature 18 vols

These are interspersed with classics as well as histories.

The last time I took a picture of this wall, that was pretty much the extent of it...books. Then the Cameron bug bit again.

Cameron Clay Works was located in Cameron, West Virginia. It was destroyed by fire in 1964.

I have found three basic color combinations: all gold (with a white interior); gold and black; gold and seafoam. You can of course, see other colors (like the swan). The gold pieces are marked, the other colors are not and while I "believe" them to be Cameron, I cannot say with complete certainty. I have also run across a pink/black combo that I believe is from Cameron.

I sold 60 pieces in an attempt to stick to Savoy. I am now back up to 53!

I guess you could say this was the "golden age" of pottery?
