Eh, you have tons of room for more are! Look at all of that waste space! ;o) Over the years, I've kept rearranging the space between paintings and other artwork on my walls until I have virtually no space left to compress anymore. Last time I counted, I had over 900 paintings on my walls in a 1200 square foot house!
I've actually walked around my house for a hour before trying to find a place to squeeze in a 4x6 or 5x7 painting and failed. I recently sold a painting, the first time I have ever done that, to a woman who is a descendant of the artist, she spotted it on my web site, so got to hang a new painting on my walls for the first time in maybe ten years. Too bad it was only an 8x10.. I have over a thousand paintings in storage due to lack of space to display them. You have a long way to go in your descent into madness! ;o)
There’s always room for one more item! LOL

Wow, you have some really cool pieces!
Kwqd, would love to see the paintings/pics on your walls too :)
My bedroom walls are likewise nearly as completely covered -- but instead of 'fine art paintings', with my favorite 30-something highway signs. (and 3 or 4 traffic lights)
Gotta try to get some pics of those one of these days...I've already shown the other 30+ 'favorite road signs' that adorn my backyard fence. The ones in the bedroom are generally all more worth 'preservation inside' than continued life 'out in the elements'. (and then there's the dozen or so here in my computer room and the bathroom... <crazy><lol>)
Tell me about it. Sometimes I take everything down in a section and rearrange to fit something else in.
fortapache: that's what i've been doing for the past 3 wks - rearranging to find more room and to try and make sense of my collections!
valentino: those 'inkpots' are all Asian pots from around 800-1200 yrs old. those little pots were used for potions in the middle ages, or at least i like to think so! yup on Whistler's Mom - a print from the 1920s. thanks everyone!
Nice display of the things you love ho2
Remember the German dictum: "Ordnung muss sein !"
order is on the walls of the ordained!
I wonder how many of us have our walls the same way ;) I know mine are like that too! Question to you is, do you have shelves over your windows? I do and I just sorta put stuff up there where ever without "matching" anything and always get compliments. It's been a while since I've really changed anything but used to change it all about every 6 months. I had the same thoughts as valentino above too... One thing I do have is a small print of one of DeGas ballerina from the 20's. Just wondering how I'd find the value of it. Would you happen to know? I would imagine the older prints would carry some good value but have had no luck with research. It's in it's original Eastlake frame, I'm pretty sure of that but that's all I know.
most prints are decorative only today, but even that can be substantial if rare and very decorative or la moda. etchings are another kettle of fish and can have substantial value depending on artist, made during lifetime, signed etc....
