Until recently this item was a mystery, nowhere on the web could I find anything about it. People that have been with Ridgid for 40 years had never heard of this model 5-R. I emailed the Ridgid company and within a few hours they got back with me and it is from April 1939. In Dec of 39 they changed to a different model. Too bad the cutting dies aren’t available.
