I recently purchased this at a yard sale and would appreciate any info anyone might have about it. It is my first tobacciana purchase.

@yougottahavestuff, do you know where I can find out more about it? I'm really curious about why it is bubble shaped on top. I thought it was veneer that had somehow bubbled, but it seems it is part of the design.

I'm hoping so. I had never seen one of these, and didn't even know what it was when I bought it. I like what I'm learning about them tho! I'm pretty sure the seller had no idea what they had, or they wouldn't have let it go for $10!

Definitely Craftsman Mission Oak style, circa first quarter of the 2oth century. I would think the design is quite a nice piece of rare design by a craftsman with an edge of advantage on design.
