      IF it is in fact 'tubular' and maybe 4-6" long, the goldish colored end might be a 'mouthpiece' and the perforated part of it does somehow 'open up', I'd be inclined to agree with bobby725 and dgirardin. Sorry Looker, I'm not seeing it as any sort of mouthpiece for a musical instrument...?
