I have the missing drawer and the wood veneer that has come off. The drawers contain a complete tool kit and lots of extra pressure feet and needles, as well as a couple of other items I don’t recognize. I don’t think it’s worth much because it’s pretty grubby, but with a good clean I do think it would work again.
Keramikos, thank you for all that information! I did find the serial number on another site, which said it was made in 1864, so not sure. The cabinet does have the drop down leaf. And yes, in my research I found the other machine on here with the orange blossom pattern, which is why I’m on here....lol. I don’t know if I can add more photos, but there was a page in the drawer from a machine “The Singer 99K”, copyrighted in 1953, so I don’t think it goes with the machine. Thanks also for the links to the manual, I will print that off and give it, along with the machine and cabinet, to my friend who loves to sew more than I do.
Thank you Keramikos for the additional information. I found the date on a site, contrado.co.uk. I will try to link it here. Yes, I should make a PicFrame collage with a few photos, then I could add in the photo of the dates on their page. https://www.contrado.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/serial-numbers.pdf
