The manufacturer was W.D. Allison of Indianapolis Indiana. I've never seen anything like it with the griffin carvings on the supports until running across the other post on this site. My great-grandfather bought this new in 1897 to the best of our family lore. I had it restored this past year. It was in tough shape but its a memorial to my family's history and early medical practice.
