Updated photos. Not sure what this is. Too cool to let go in the scrap dumpster. Rescued from an old knitting mill.
No makers mark or numbers visible anywhere.
    Any ideas or input?

I've searched online with every name I can come up with for this scissor thing with no luck. Looking forward to restore them for a show and tell.
Any ideas on who made it and what they're called?

Any chance of a better photo of the way it would set, or, be mounted , on a bench? Thanks, Lou

Sure can, I'll drag it out of the shed tomorrow and set it up on some saw horses.
The quick pics I took don't really do it any justice.

Dam, I thought I was the only one who still had some of those old blue armored briefcases.

It's definitely not a sheet metal shear. Giant pair of scissors with a foot operated pedal.
