Sometimes I should research an item before I post it like this time. Have not been able to find out when Conoco used this type of graphics on their cans. Seems to be one of their older designs. The graphics are printed directly on the can as opposed to on paper wrapped around the can.
This came with the attractive spout on it. A lot of old oil cans were opened with a can opener but this one has a fancy oil spout stuck in it. Tus no funnel was needed. Back in the long long ago I used something like it but it had a rubber gasket and a plastic case. It was rather messy.
This can has no weight on it. Just says heavy duty. Probably for a truck. I used 10w-40. Now I don't know what I use as I take it to the dealer for service.
Exciting new info! This logo was used from 1930-1970.
Thank you very much Nicefice. Nice tree.
