Today was not a good day for me! I found three items and none of them I identified. I searched for a long time but somehow I must not have been able to enter the correct search terms. I got nothing!
This cuff bracelet must be relatively new. I think that it was made some when during the last two decades. It has a simple base with flowing lines. The spaces created by these lines are filled with what I believe to be some kind of enamel or possibly acrylic.
The bracelet is marked ".925" and a symbol. I am surly lacking the imagination to decipher or identify the symbol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks for liking my cuff bracelet, RichmondLori :)
Beautiful inlay on the silver cuff. Could the mark be a Mexican sterling maker, I'm sure you know they have many different symbols
Anything is possible, Newfld. I was thinking that it is a recent maker, but I have no clue whatsoever who could be behind the symbol.
Thanks for the comment:)
Mary, thanks for your comment. I don't think it is inlay. I think that the pattern has been carved (possibly by a machine and not by hand) and then filled in with acrylic. I first assumed that it was enamel but I believe that this would be too rigid and possibly crack and come off. I have come across similar designs in vintage Scandinavian pewter jewellery but this doesn't look like a Scandinavian mark to me. I will have to keep searching:)
