    Looking for any information on this chest. All I know is the lock is USA excelsior Conn 5933. Anything would be appriciated.

      The outside skin of the trunk is made of vulcanized fibre.Vu-Cot Fibre is one of the makers of the material that comes to mind. As for the trunk Manufacturer, there were many makers of this style of trunk during the 1920s thru to the 195os or so. Without a makers label hard to say exactly.
