From today's monthly antique fair, this Kralik floriform was well worth the 6 hour round trip.
This is my first floriform with purple tones, & I think also the tallest one.
It measures around 20 cm tall. A purple stem turns to clear & milky opalescence at the tips of the upright & downwards - curving petals. Two green leaves provide support to the base.
And there's more loot to come, as my lengthy trip rewarded me with two other fine pieces of art glass - stay tuned!
And not your last, I..bet!..very nice!!..:-)
So true, Penny! Glad you're enjoying it!
Beautiful colors:)
A lovely example in both colour and shape.....can one ever have too many!
did that grow there ,,,? smiling ...lovely piece of glass for shure Lace ..have a nice day .
Many thanks, Trey!
I think we both know the answer to that, Peggy - too many Kralik floriforms are never enough! :-)
I also love that this one was found "in the wild" eg, at a fair rather than online. That rush you get when you clap eyes on something special, in person, makes it even better...
Alleycat1 - my garden is quite remarkable, isn't it, you never know what's going to pop up!
I saw this at the market and though of you and Peggy!
Cool buy.
Thanks Karen!
Yes, we both seem to be well known as the floriform fans on CW!
