Or maybe this one's more (the bottom half of) a 'Dutch oven' (missing its lid) but I really don't know all those niceties to ID any one odd shape of old cast iron cookware to another...?
It is, otherwise, a rusty and abused cast iron pot with a bail, about 12-1/2" at its widest and about 4" deep. It seems to show evidence not only of being well used (in its earlier days?) but also of where it was found...that 'house cleanout thing' once more, in a cabinet under a kitchen sink that'd obviously had some 'unattended plumbing problems' over the years...
Anyways, here it is after a reasonably quick application of a wire brush to lose the worst of the crusty-rusties. The only marking I find on it is an "88" near the edge of its bottom.
I’m glad you rescued it and gave it so much needed attention. I love old cast iron cookware.
It would be nice to see it all cleaned up and seasoned. If this is a #10 (12.25" diameter), Lodge sells new cast iron lids for their #10 skillets and pots. No idea who made your pot.

Lodge appears to be out of stock for these lids, but I found them on other sites. I have bought some #8 lids and they work well.
