I bought this trunk from a antique shop on the eastern shore of maryland 40 years ago and was told it was a jenny lind trunk. I have tried to find the exact type of jenny lind so I can possibly sell it. So, I need to know what type and how much would it go for.

I have added three new pics. One from the side, opened up and close up of the lock.

Can you post some photos from the side, a closer look at the lock and a photo of the inside? Thanks

Here's a great website for you to see the various styles. http://legacytrunks.com/trunk_history_information.htm
My guess on price, based on the condition that I can see from the photos, would be about $450

Thank you for your estimate. What I would like to know is the type of trunk. Is it a jenny lind and what is the timer period it was made. Thanks again.

It is a Jenny Lind style -around 1870. If you check the website, you will see a very similar trunk (even the same lock plate) under the section marked Jenny Lind
