I confess that I’d never heard of Lubrite Gasoline until I saw this sign. Obviously I had to have it so bought it to add to the Lakeside Storage Collection. I never cease to be amazed at all the different brands of Gas we've had in the USA.
The Lubrite Refining Company began in 1922 and was soon bought by the Vacuum Co of St Louis. Lubrite had a new and better way of refining oil that didn’t require heating it, which they say, protected it from degrading and made the oil last longer in your vehicles engine. They claimed you would get twice or better mileage from the Lubrite process. Sounds good to me!
